Tomato Basil Soup Recipe (Yummy....!)

The secret to the richness of this Tomato Basil Soup-Recipe is to use real butter and fresh basil leaves. Please do not substitute, or you will not have the same high quality end result.Ingredients 3 tbsp of olive oil, 2 tbsp unsalted butter, 2 medium yellow onions (peeled and chopped), 2 tsp of Kosher salt, 1/2 tsp of pepper, 1 can of fire roasted tomatoes (28-29 ounces), 4 cups of vegetables broth, 1/2 cup of fresh basil leaves (chopped) and 3 fresh tomatoes (peel the skin and put into hot water) The Making Firstly, prepare a saucepan, heat butter and oil. Saute onions, salt and pepper for 5 minutes over medium heat. Add in tomatoes and cook stirring for 5 minutes. Add in broth and bring to simmer for 15 minutes over medium heat. Add in basil. Transfer soup into a blender, puree until smooth. Return to pan and heat through over low heat for awhile. (Do not boil). Done.
