A lot of people are depends on soup and salad to lose weight. Basically they are healthy and light food.

Salads soups often served as an appetizer before a meal. Salad is a mixture of cold foods including vegetables and/or fruits, often with a dressing, occasionally nuts or croutons, and sometimes with the addition of meat, fish, pasta, cheese, or whole grains. They are many types of salad, eg. Ceasar Salad, Potato Salad, Broccoli Salad, Bean Salad, Pasta Salad, Fruit Salad, Pea Salad, Green Salad, etc

I would like to share with you here the Green Salad which is normally served with soup in many restaurant and a lot of people like this dishes very much.

By making this green salad, there are variety of leaf lettuce and veggie mixed to your choice, there are :

Cabbage, Lettuce, Tomato, Cucumber, Onions, Peppers, Radishes, Mushrooms, spinach, Carrots, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cheese, Fruit, Nuts, Olives, Red cabbage, Celery, Avacado, Zoukini, Mini corn.

You can also buy the pre-mixed salad Greens.

The Making :

1). Chose your preferred leaf lettuce and veggie; clean and cut all of them in bite size piece; put into a salad bowl. Mix them with a spoon.

2). Make sure all the leaf lettuce and veggie are dry and cold.

3). Add the dressing only when you want to eat the salad.

For dressing, a little bit of oil, vinegar and salt to taste is all you need for a tasty, basic little salad. Raspberry or garlic flavored vinegar is also nice. I usually mix 3 parts oil to 1 part vinegar. A touch of salt sharpens up the flavor a bit as well.

Soup is a food that is made by combining ingredients such as meat and vegetables in stock or hot/boiling water, until the flavor is extracted, forming a broth.
