Homemade Rice Soup

My Grandma's Rice-Soup This Rice-Soup was learn from my Grandma. That is ridiculously simple making! :) Ingredients To prepare 1 cup of brown min. rice, 1 can of diced tomatoes, 1 can of diced carrots, 1 can of diced celery, 1 can of diced potatoes and ham (diced) The Making Prepare a saucepan, add in all ingredients and cook until the rice is cooked. Season with pepper and salt to taste.
Bean & Rice-Soup Ingredients Well, for ingredients, you shall prepare for 2 cups of Navy beans (rinsed) (soak for overnight), 1 onion (peeled and diced), 2 celery (sliced), 1 carrot (chopped coarsely), 2 clove garlic (minced), 4 cups of vegetable stock, 1 can of diced tomatoes, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 0.5 teaspoon of dry mustard, 1/8 teaspoon of red pepper, 2 teaspoon of fresh thyme (chopped), 10 ounces of spinach (chopped), 2 cups of leftover rice (wild rice or brown rice), black pepper, fresh ground to taste. The Making Prepare a crockpot, put in onion, celery, carrot, garlic, beans, broth, tomatoes, paprika mustard, red pepper. Cook on low about 9 hours. The rehydrated beans need it to get tender. If you use canned you can cook it for 5-6 hours. After that, add in fresh thyme, and spinach and rice. Cook for another 1 hour. Serve. Yummy!
Chicken Rice Soup The best soup to warm you up in Winter. Ingredients (6 servings)For ingredients, you shall prepare for 3 pounds of chicken, 8 cups of water, 1/2 cup of celery (chopped), 1/4 cup od fresh parsley leaves (chopped), 1 onion (sliced), 1 pepper, 1 bay leaf, 1/4 teaspoon of celery seeds, 1/2 cup of rice (uncooked), 1 cup of carrot (peeled and diced) The Making Prepare a soup pot, pour in water, add in chicken, celery, celery seed, parsley, onion, pepper and bay leaf, bring to simmer for about 1 hour over low heat. Drain the chicken broth and remove chicken pieces. Discard bay leaf. Bone the chicken and chop into bite-size pieces. Combine the broth, chicken, rice and carrots in a saucepan. Cook for about half and hour or more or until the rice is tender. Serve hot.
Wild Rice Soup My favorite soup :) Ingredients For ingredients, you shall prepare for 0.5 pound of wild rice, 2 carrots (peeled and sliced), 2 stalk celery (chopped), 1 onion (chopped), 1 can of mushroom (optional), 2 cans of chicken broth & water to make it soupy, 1 pound of Velvetta cheese, 1 pint of half & half. The Making Boiling wild rice in a pot for 45 minutes over medium heat, drain Prepare a saucepan, melt butter and saute veggies for few minutes. Then, add to drained rice. Add in chicken broth and water. Add Velvetta Cheese, bring to simmer for about 2 hours with the lid covered. Add in half and half just before serving. Garnish with bacon bits.
