Basically, Protein Soup is for those who want to diet. A lot of people were successfully trim down their weight by just taking protein food. Besides soup, solid food with high protein , eg. chicken, fish, seafood, beef, etc also widely use by a lot of people or slimming center for their diet plan. When taking this diet plan, no carbohydrate food, eg. rice, potato shall be taken. But, this diet plan is not good for health in long term. Why ? That is because eaten a high protein soup diet for long periods of time, can increase cholesterol whereas just like a high intake of saturated fats can promote heart disease and cancer. In a high protein soup diet you’re likely to have lots of meat, butter, and even eggs in the soup. Weight loss from a high protein diet only comes because the body is losing a lot of water quickly. But if the goal of the dieter is to lose fat, a conscious effort of eating healthier for the long haul, should be the goal. Rapid weight loss can be very dangerous to the body because it makes the kidneys work extra hard, especially on a high protein diet. Even though people on a high protein soup diet, or even the Atkins diet, lose large amounts of weight, and are even known to lower their blood cholesterol, sugar and triglycerides, the method is very unhealthy. Sometimes such a diet causes nausea, constipation and stomach problems. But, if you want to lose weight FAST in a short period, you can try this soup, it will bring you the amazing result. But, remember, this soup is not advisable to be taken in long term. Ingredients (for 4 servings) For ingredients. you have to prepare for 2 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 cove garlic (diced fine), 1/2 yellow onion (diced), 1 carrot (diced), 2 ribs celery (diced), 1 zucchini squash (diced)- 1, 1 can of canned diced tomatoes (about 14 ounces), seasoning (basil/onion, onion/garlic, Italian seasoning, etc), 2 tablespoon of chopped fresh cilantro or parsley (optional item)
1 quart chicken broth (with salt and spices if possible, otherwise, mix and put in the following:
1/2 tsp salt,1/2 tsp black pepper,1/8 tsp cayenne pepper, 1/2 tsp dried basil, 1/4 tsp onion powder), 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken tenders, cut into chunks, sprinkled with salt and pepper.
The Making In a soup pot, sauté onion in olive oil at medium heat. After 1 minute, add in the garlic and continue cooking until they are semitransparent. Then, add in the chicken and sauté until opaque. Follow by carrot, celery, zucchini and sauté until they are soft for about 5 minutes; remember always stirring them to prevent burning. Add in tomatoes, with their juice, and the broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until all vegetable are tender.Let's check out more our famous diet soup recipes,
