Hi! Here's to tell you how to cook a Delicious Lobster Bisque Soups. Whether it is meat from the claws or tail, lobster is a versatile food that can be boiled, broiled, baked, steamed, and put in soups. Lobster itself is actually a very low fat food that is very high in protein. There is just under 30grams of protein in a standard 5oz portion. This is comparable to Steak, though eating Lobster has only 15% or less of the fat for the same amount of protein. There are also Zero Carbohydrates in lobster, so it fits in with a No Carbs or Low Carbs diet. Let's check out this Fantastic Lobster Bisque Soup Recipe. Ingredients (4 servings)Well, for ingredients, you need to prepare 2 pound of lobster, 2 stalk celery, 1 shallot (minced), 1 cup of onion (chopped), 2 cups of half & half (or you can use milk), lobster broth, 1/2 teaspoons of old bay seasoning (optional item), 1 cup of sherry, 1 teaspoon of concentrated chicken stock or 1 cube of chicken bouillon, 1 cup of flour, 3 cups of reserved lobster broth, Seasoning : salt, white pepper. The Making Prepare a saucepan, put in lobster and celery, cover with enough cold water, bring to boil for 10 to 15 minutes until the lobster meat turn into red color and cooked. Remove the lobster, strain broth (let lobster cool), set aside. In a large saucepan, melt butter, saute shallot and onion until soft. Add half and half and some of the lobster broth, reserve 3 cups for later usage. Heat the milk mixture throughly, add in paprika, chicken stock, sherry, old bay seasoning, salt and pepper. Prepare a small bowl, mix in the flour and reserved 3 cups of lobster broth, stir well, pour into the soup until thickened. Meanwhile, remove meat from lobster and add to bisque. Allow bisque to simmer for 15 minutes (don't boil), stirring occasionally. Garnish with chopped parsley before serve. Serve hot. Our suggestion to you : You can use 1 1/2 tablespoons of Minor's Lobster Base instead of lobster broth, eliminates the chicken bouillon. You can also make Crab Bisque Soup by just replace the lobster meat by crab meat! :)
