Lentil Soup Recipe (Taste so Great~)

I have been made this Lentil-Soup Recipe for about four times already and I love it! It's so cheap and easy to make and I feel so refreshed after eating it. It's absolutely wonderful! Lentil soup is one of those recipes that should be in every cook's repertoire. Lentils are available in most grocery stores and are high in protein, healthy and very cheap. Let's enjoy this traditional and warming dish! Ingredients (7 servings)To prepare 2 tbsp of olive oil. 1 cup of onions (peeled and chopped), 1/2 cup of carrots (peeled and chopped), 1/2 cup of celery (finely chopped), 2 tsp of kosher salt, 1 pound of lentil, 1 cup of tomatoes (peeled and chopped), 2 quarts of chicken stock, 1/2 tsp of freshly ground coriander, 1/2 tsp of freshly ground toasted cumin, 1/2 tsp of freshly ground grains of paradise. The Making Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat, saute onions, carrot, celery, salt for few minutes until the onions are soft. Stir in lentils, tomatoes, broth, coriander, cumin and grains of paradise. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 40 minutes until the lentil are tender. Transfer to a food processor or blender, puree to your desired texture (optional). Serve warm. Normally i did not puree the soup..that is all depends on individual preference :)
