Homemade Fish Soup Recipe

This Homemade Fish-Soup Recipe have a very good mixture of ingredients and it brought great taste to this soup. The important tips of cooking this soup is, the fish and the prawn must be fresh enough. Ingredients To prepare 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 450g of small potatoes (peeled and cut into half), 1 bunch of spring onions (sliced), 1 yellow bell pepper (sliced), 2 garlic cloves (crushed), 225ml/8 fl ounces dry white wine, 1 pint of fish stock, 225g of white fish fillet (skinned and cubed), 225g smoked cod fillet (skinned and cubed), 2 tomatoes (peeled, seeded and chopped), 100g of peeled cooked prawn, 150ml double cream and 2 tablespoons of shredded fresh basil. The Making Firstly, prepare a saucepan, heat vegetable oil and saute potatoes, spring onions and garlic for about 3 minutes until the garlic are brown. Add in wine and fish stock, cover the lid and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Add in fish fillet and tomatoes and cook for another 10 minutes. Add in prawn, cream and basil and cook for another 3 minutes. Serve hot.
