Cream of Pumpkin Soup

I use to cook this Cream of Pumpkin-Soup very often. It is very simple making and delicious. Rich and Creamy. I believe you will like it too :)Ingredients Well, for ingredients, you shall prepare for 2 tablespoons of butter, 0.5 pound of onion (peeled and thinly sliced), 0.5 tablespoon of flour, 2 cans of condensed chicken broth (undiluted), 1 can of pumpkin, 2 cup of milk, 1 cup of light cream, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/8 teaspoon of pepper, 1/4 teaspoon of ginger, 1/8 teaspoon of cinnamon, 2 cups of water. The Making Firstly, melt butter in a saucepan, saute onion for 10 minutes until soft. Remove the pan from heat. Stir in flour and slowly stir in broth. Bring the broth to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Transfer soup to a blender. Blend for 1 minutes on high speed. Put in Dutch oven. Blend in pumpkin smoothly with wire whisk. Add milk, light cream, 2 cups of water and seasoning; blend with wire whisk. Heat the soup slowly over medium heat just to boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes. Serve hot.
