Grandma's Crab-Soup
This crab-soup was always cooked by my beloved Grandma. My siblings and i love this soup very much since we are young. I believe you and your families will love this soup too :) Ingredients 1 pound of crab meat, 1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of butter or margarine, 1/2 cup of grated onion, 2 cups of milk, 1/2 cup of whipping cream, 1 dash of pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and sherry - to taste
The Making Melt butter in top of double broiler over hot water. Add in salt, pepper, onion & flour; mixing & stir well.Add crab meat and cook for about 5 minutes. Prepare a bowl, mix in whipping cream, Worcestershire sauce and milk; mix well. Pour in the milk mixture into crab meat mixture, stir well and heat thoroughly. Stir in sherry before serve. Enjoy!
Popular Maryland Crab Soup
Try this! It's simple making and tasty! Ingredients (8 servings)Well, the ingredients that you need to prepare are 1 pound of crab meat, 2 cans of Vegetables soup, 2 cans of Manhattan clam chowder, 1 bag of Frozen mixed vegetables and 1 tablespoon of old bay seasoning The Making Combine all above mentioned ingredients (except crab meat) into a soup pot. Bring to boil, reduce heat simmer for half an hour. Add in crab meat. Serve hot.
Spicy Crab Soup
This soup is for Spicy taste lover :) Fantastic! Ingredients (8 servings)To prepare 1 pound of Crab meat, 6 Chicken wings, 1 quart of Water, 3 pounds of Tomatoes (quartered), 1 Frozen corn, thawed (8 ounces), 1 cup Frozen pea (thawed), 1 cup celery (chopped), 1 Onion (peeled and diced), 3/4 teaspoon of Seafood seasoning, 1/4 teaspoon of Lemon pepper, 1 teaspoon of salt.
The Making Prepare a soup pot, pour in water and chicken wings. Cover the lid, simmer for about 1 hour over low heat. Add in all veggies and seasoning, cover, simmer for another 30-40 minutes until veggies are tender. Add in crab meat, cover and simmer for another 15 minutes. Serve hot.
Best Cream of Crab Soup
The best cream of crab soup in town! Ingredients 6 oz Crab meat (backfin recommended, cartilage), 4 tablespoons of Unsalted butter, 2 tablespoons of flour, 1 teaspoon of Old bay seasoning, 1 teaspoon of onion (minced),1 tablespoon of Lemon juice, 16 fluid ounces of light cream, parsley The Making Melt butter over medium heat in a saucepan. Add in onion, lemon juice and old bay, stir thoroughly. Add in flour, stir constantly, slowly add in light cream, stirring. Add in crab meat and bring to simmer for about 15 minutes. Garnish with a dash of parsley and old bay before serve.
