Corn-soup is a soup traditionally made in corn (typically sweetcorn) producing areas of the world that is now widespread due to greater corn distribution. It can be cooked in many ways, eg. Cream of corn-soup, Corn crab soups, Chinese sweet corn-soup, Dried corn-soup, Mexican Corn-Soup..... etc.

I would like to share with you some highly rated corn-soup recipes here. Most of them are very easy making. Check out.


Easy Making Chinese Sweet Corn Soup

This soup is clear and sweet. Wonderful aroma!

Ingredients

Well, yo shall prepare for one corn (cut into 3 pieces), 1 carrot (peeled and cubed), few pips of garlic, some pork ribs. Seasoning : salt and pepper.

The Making

Just place all the above mentioned ingredients into a soup pot, pour in with enough water to cover all ingredients, bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Done.

Delicious..........! I love this soup very much!


Homemade Chicken Corn Soup

Ingredients

Well, you shall prepare for 1 large chicken, 1 onions (peeled and sliced), 2 celery stalk (chopped), 1 can of cream of celery soup, 1 tablespoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of celery seed, 2 cans of creamed corn and 1 can of whole kernel corn.

The Making

Firstly, boil chicken in a soup pot until cooked. Remove from pot, remove skin and remove meat from bone. Set aside.

Add celery, onions, celery seed, salt into the chicken broth, bring to simmer over medium heat until the celery are tender. Add in corn, celery soup, cream corn into the pot and bring to boil for 10 minutes. Add in reserve chicken pieces and simmer for another few minutes. Serve hot. Done.


Indian Corn Soup

You can get the ingredients from Asian market :)

Ingredients

To prepare 6 large corn cobs (bhutta), 6 cups of water, 2 tablespoons of cornflour, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of soya sauce, 1 teaspoon of Chili sauce, 1 teaspoon of vinegar, seasoning : salt to taste.

The Making

Firstly, you shall pressure cooking the corn kernels until tender. Reserve 1/4 cup of cooked corn kernels aside for later usage.

Grind the remaining corn kernels and cook it in a saucepan over medium heat. Combine cornflour and 4 tablespoons of water, stir well and add into the saucepan. Simmer the mixture over low heat until thickened. Stirring constantly. Add in sugar, salt, soya sauce, vinegar and chili sauce. Serve the soup hot with the reserve corn kernels dipped in it. We are done :)




Creamed Style Chicken Corn Soup

Ingredients

(6 servings)

Well, you shall add in 1.5 cup of chicken broth, 1 quart of water, 1 pound of chicken legs with thighs, 2 teaspoons of salt, 2 teaspoons of fish sauce, 1 can of creamed corn, 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil, 1 clove garlic (peeled and chopped), 1 tablespoon of white wine, 1 egg and ground black pepper.

The Making

Firstly, place the chicken broth, water and chicken, bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for about 20 minutes. Remove the chicken from pot and shredded it. Return the shredded chicken to broth, add salt, fish sauce and creamed corn.

In another separate pan, heat oil and saute garlic. cook Stirring. Stir in wine and cook for few seconds. Quickly stir in this wine mixture into the broth and bring the broth to boil. Break the egg into the soup and remove the pot from heat. Sprinkle with black pepper before serve.


Homemade Old Styled Chicken Corn Soup

Ingredients

(3 servings)

To prepare 3.5 pound of chicken (cubed0, 3 quarts of water, 2 celery stalk (chopped), 1 onions (peeled and sliced), 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of pepper, 5 ounces of noodles, 2.5 cup of whole kernel corn, 2 hard cooked eggs (chopped), 1 small handful of chopped parsley.

The Making

Firstly, place the chicken in a soup pot and covered with water. Add in celery, salt, onion and pepper. Bring to boil and reduce heat to low, simmer for about 2 hours.

After 2 hours, remove the chicken from broth. Remove the meat from bones and discard skin. Cut the chicken into bite size pieces. Return the chicken pieces into the broth.

Add in noodles and corn and cook until the noodles are cooked. Add in chopped egg and parsley. Serve hot.


Crab Meat & Sweet Corn-Soup

Must try this soup. Fantastic! After you cook it, you will understand what i said :) I just Love this soup very very very muchhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Ingredients

(3 servings)

Well, you shall prepare for 1 can of sweet corn kernels, 2 cups of fish soup, 1 egg (beaten), 1 can of crab meat (drained and flaked), spring onions (peeled and chopped), seasoning : salt and pepper to taste.

The Making

Prepare a soup pot, add in fish broth and bring to boil. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for another few minutes. Gradually stir in the beaten egg. Add corn kernels and crab meat, cook for another few minutes. Garnish with spring onions before serve.
