Corn and Crab Chinese Soup Recipes

One of the popular soup served in Chinese restaurant. Check out. Yummy!

Ingredients

Well, you shall prepare for 30ml sesame oil, 1 Garlic clove, 1 teaspoon of Grated ginger, 1 Corn cob, 3 Shallots, 200g Crab meat, 400ml Fish stock, 30ml Soy sauce, Pinch Salt and pepper, Pinch MSG, Pinch Chinese five spice, 50g Corn flour and 1 Egg white

The Making

Firstly, you shall gently fry the garlic and ginger. Remove the corn from the cob and add it in and the chopped shallots.

Add the crab meat but do not fry it until it is coloured, as this will darken the soup. Pour in the stock and soy sauce. Add the seasonings and bring the soup to the boil.

Remove from the heat and add a slurry of corn flour and water, whilst stirring continuously. Beat the egg white with a teaspoon of water to make it fluid, but not foaming. Serve the soup into bowls while hot and swirl a dribble of egg white into the bowl.


Mushroom Chinese Soup Recipes

This soup is very easy to make and taste great.

Ingredients

(4 servings)

Well, you shall prepare for 3 cups of 0% fat, reduced sodium chicken broth, 1/2 cup thinly sliced shiitake mushroom caps, 1 cup cubed firm tofu, 1/2 cup canned sliced bamboo shoots, drained, 1/2 tbsp fish sauce, 1 large egg (lightly beaten), 1/4 cup of minced green onions, 1/2 teaspoon dark sesame oil, 1/2 tsp chili oil, 1/2 tsp of black pepper, 1/4 tsp of sugar.

The Making

Prepare a pan, pour in stock and bring to boil. Add in mushroom, bamboo shoots, tofu. Boil again for another 5 minutes.

Remove the pan from heat. Stir in the fish sauce and remaining ingredients. Serve hot.


Hot & Sour Chinese Soup Recipes

This Chinese Soup look good, taste good, smell good. This soup is Best in winter. Cool!

Ingredients

Well, you shall prepare 6 cups of chicken stock, 1/4 pound of pork (julienned), 2 tbsp of garlic and chili paste, 2 tbsp of soy sauce, 3/4 tsp of ground black pepper, 3 eggs (beaten), 5 tbsp of cornstarch mixed with little of water, 1 cup washed and sliced shiitake mushrooms, 1 can peeled straw mushrooms, 1 can sliced bamboo shoots, 1 can sliced water chestnuts, 1 can baby sweet corn cobs, 1/2 pound soft tofu (sliced into small cubes), 1/4 cup white vinegar, 1 tsp of sesame oil, green onions (sliced)

The Making

Prepare a soup pot, pour in chicken stock and bring to boil. Reduce heat, add in soy sauce, park, mushroom, chili paste and garlic. bring to simmer for another 10 minutes.

Add in pepper, bamboo shoot, vinegar, baby corn cob, water chestnut and tofu. Simmer for about 15 minutes. Stir in cornstarch mixture to thicken the soup. Add in beaten eggs and cook for 1 more minute. Stir in sesame and garnish with green onions before serve.




Chicken and Corn Chinese Soup Recipes

This is a delicious low fat soup. Once you cook it, you will love it :)

Ingredients

Well, you shall prepare for 1 can of cream corn soup, 1/2 cup of chicken soup, 1 can of water, 1 egg (whisked), 100g of chicken breast, chopped spring onion.

Marinade

1 teaspoon of light soy sauce, 1/2 tsp of sugar, 1/2 tsp of cornflour, 1 tsp of water, 1 pinch of white pepper.

The Making

Firstly, rinse the chicken breast and drain well. Cut into bite size pieces. Marinade for about 15 minutes. Set aside.

Prepare a pan, pour in creamed corn soup and chicken soup. Cover the lid and bring to boil. Reduce heat and add in marinated chicken. Stir constantly. Simmer for about 8 minutes until chicken are cooked. Remove from heat and slowly stir in whisked egg. Garnished with chopped green onions before serve.


Watercress Chinese Soup Recipes

This is a easy making clear soup.

Ingredients

Well, you shall prepare for 2 ears sweet corn, 1 lb of watercress, 4 honey dates, 8 ounces of lean pork, 1 piece of dried tangerine peel, 1 litre of water and salt to taste.

The Making

Firstly, you shall cut the corn into few section and soak the tengerine peel. You shall also pre-boil the lean pork for about 8 minutes.

Prepare a soup pot, pour in 1 litre of water, bring to boil. Place in sweet corn, honey dates, watercress, lean pork and dried tangerine peel into the boiling water. Return to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 2.5 hour. Season with salt to taste. Serve hot.
