Chicken Soup With Rice

This Chicken-Soup With Rice Recipe is one of my favorite soup. Normally, i will cook it as lunch or dinner and share with my families. It's tasty and my families also love it very much. Let's check out.Ingredients Well, for ingredients, you need to prepare 1/2 cup of long grain rice (rinsed), 2 pounds of Rotisserie chicken, 1 stalk celery (coarsely chopped), 2 stalk celery (diced in 1/4 inches),1 onion (quartered), 6 fresh parsley sprigs, 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped), 2 fresh thyme sprigs, turkish - 1 of California bay leaf - 1/2, 10 cups of reduced sodium chicken broth (approximately 80 fl oz), 1 carrot (peeled and cut into 5mm thick slices) The Making 1). Remove meat from chicken, reserve skin and bones. 2). Prepare a saucepan, put in chicken skin and bones, coarsely chopped celery, parsley sprigs, onion, thyme sprigs, bay leaves, chicken broth; bring to simmer for about 1 hour. 3). While broth is simmering, shred about half of chicken meat into 1-inch-long pieces (about 1/4 inch thick) to yield 1.5 cups meat, reserving remaining meat for another use. 4). Pour the the chicken broth into a bowl through a fine-mesh sieve, add in diced celery, rice, carrot; bring to simmer for 30 min. Add in shredded chicken and chopped parsley before serve. Enjoy :)
