Try out this, My Grandma's Chicken-Dumpling Soup Recipe. Great filling dumpling! Great soup! You can also add in your preferred vegetables eg, choy sam, carrot, cabbage, etc. Ingredients (4 servings)To prepare 16 wonton skin, 230g lean chicken (minced), 1 tbsp of light soy sauce, 3 tbsp of chopped fresh chives, 1 clove of garlic (finely chopped), 2 egg whites, 1 tsp of sugar, 1 liter of chicken stock, 2 tbsp of rice wine, seasoning : Salt and pepper to taste. The Making For preparation of the filling, you shall prepare a small bowl, mix in chicken, soy sauce, 1 tbsp of chopped chives, garlic, 1 egg white, sugar, salt and pepper. Mix well all ingredients. Scoop the filling onto the center of wonton skin, brush edges with egg white and bring corners together, pinching edges to seal. Place the dumpling in a pot with boiling water for about 1 minutes. Drain and set aside. In another pot, pour in stock and bring to boil. Add in rice wine, dumpling and the balance chopped chives. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes. season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve Hot.
