Chicken and Rice Soup

This Chicken & Rice Soup was always cooked by my beloved mother. I always treat this soup as my dinner, this soup is not so heavy and it can help me to diet too :) Beside, it's taste so great. You should give a try!Ingredients For ingredients, you need to prepare 1 pound of boneless chicken breast (cut into small cubes), 5 cups of chicken stock, 8 oz of mushrooms (sliced), 1/2 cup of carrots (sliced), 3/4 cup of celery (3/4 cup), 1/2 cup of raw rice (converted), 1/4 cup of chopped onions, 1 cup of frozen or canned mixed veggies, 1 teaspoon of pepper and 1/4 teaspoon of ground sage. The Making Well, for this soup, you can seek help from your helpful slow cooker. Just add in chicken, stock, veggies, rice and seasonings into the slow cooker. Cover the lid and cook for about 7 hours over LOW heat or cook for about 3 hours over HIGH heat. Take care of the soup, make sure the rice will not become too mushy. You can also omit the raw rice, add in cooked rice near the end of cooking times as an alternative method. Serve hot.
