Ingredients for Cabbage Soup Diet Recipes
Let's prepare for 1/2 head of cabbage, 1 bunch of celery, 2 peppers, 6 green onions, 1 - 2 cans diced/ or whole tomatoes, 3 carrots, 1 Container of Mushrooms (about 10 oz),1 package Lipton soup mix, 1 or 2 cubes of bouillon (Optional item), 1 can of 48oz canned V8 juice (this is optional). For seasoning, you shall prepare salt, pepper, parsley, curry, garlic powder, etc.
The Making
1). Slice green onions, put in a pot and start to saute with cooking spray. Cut green pepper, cabbage, carrot, celery & tomatoes into bite size pieces, add to pot. After that, slice mushrooms and add to pot.
2). For seasoning, you can use chicken or beef bouillon cubes. These have all the salt and flavors you will need. Using 12 cups of water (or 8 cups and the V8 juice), cover the lid and put heat on "low". Cook for 2 hours. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
