Cabbage Soup Diet Plan

Remember, this is not a long term diet plan, but it help you to get into shape fast before you enter into a long term moderate diet plan. Cook the following recipes and eat in this way,  7 Day Cabbage Soup Diet

Ingredients for Cabbage Soup Diet Plan

For ingredients, you need to prepare 2 green peppers, 6 green onions, 1 or 2 cans of diced/ or whole tomatoes, 1 bunch of celery, 3 carrots peeled, 1 container with 10 oz Mushrooms, 1/2 cabbage, 1 package Lipton soup mix, 1 or 2 cubes of bouillon (this is optional), 1 can of 48oz canned V8 juice (this is optional), for seasoning, you shall prepare for salt, pepper, parsley, curry, garlic powder, etc.

The Making

1). First of all, you need to slice the green onions, put in a large soup pot and start to saute with cooking spray. Cut green pepper stem end off and cut in half, remove seeds and membrane. Cut the green-pepper into bite size pieces and add into the pot. Cut the cabbage, carrot celery, tomatoes into bite size pieces & add to pot. Then, slice mushrooms and add to pot.

2). For seasoning, you can use chicken or beef bouillon cubes. These have all the salt and flavors you will need. If you prefer a spicy soup, add a small amount of curry or cayenne pepper now.

3). Using 12 cups of water (or 8 cups and the V8 juice), cover the lid and put heat on "low". Cook for 2 hours. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
