My Favorite Beef Barley Soup Recipe (Yummy...!)

This Beef-Barley Soup Recipe was given by my Grandma. This is the great warming soup in winter. My families especially my sister, christy, love this soup so much :)..Yummy! I believe after you cook this soup, you will love this soup too.
Ingredients 2 pounds of beef stew meat (cut into 1 inch pieces), 1 tbsp of oil, 5 cups of water, 4 celery (chopped), 4 carrots (peeled and chopped), 1 onions (peeled and chopped), 1 can of diced tomatoes, undrained (14.5 oz), 2 tbsp of tomato paste, 4 tsp of beef bouillon granules, 1 tsp of dried oregana, thyme, basil, parsley flakes, 1/2 tsp of salt, 1/4 tsp of pepper, 1 cip of quick cooking barley. The Making Prepare a saucepan, heat oil. Brown meat. Add water, celery, carrots, onions, canned tomatoes, tomatoes paste, bouillon and seasonings. Cover the lid and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low heat, simmer for another 1 hour. Add in barley, cook for another 15 minutes until barley are tender. (The more barley you put, the thicker of the soup will be).
